How to Swap on Solid

Swap tokens on Fuse, Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon and BNB Chain, on one network or between them, right from your Solid Wallet.

What you can swap

You can swap tokens on six networks: Fuse, Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon and BNB Chain. A swap can stay on one network (for example USDC to ETH on Base) or move between networks (for example USDC on Fuse to ETH on Arbitrum).

The list shows the tokens Solid supports on each network, plus each network's own coin: FUSE, ETH, POL and BNB. Tokens you hold are listed first. If a token isn't in the list, it can't be swapped in Solid yet.

How to swap

1. Open Swap

On the Wallet tab, tap Swap. It sits under your balance, next to Add Funds and Send. If your wallet is empty you'll only see Add Funds: add money first.

2. Choose what you pay with

In From, tap the token to open the list. Search by name, or use the network filter (All networks) to see one network at a time. Pick the token on the network where you hold it.

3. Choose what you receive

In To, pick the token and the network you want it on. If it's a different network from the one you pay from, the swap moves your money between networks.

4. Enter the amount

Type the amount you want to swap, or tap Max to use your full balance of that token.

5. Review the quote

Before you confirm, the app shows:

  • Rate and Minimum received: the least you'll get if the price moves while the swap runs
  • Solid fee: 0.5% at Core, 0.25% at Prime, free at Ultra
  • On swaps that leave Fuse: the LI.FI fee and any Bridge & exchange fees. Some routes also need a small fee paid in the network's own coin, shown as Paid on top, so keep a little of that coin in your wallet.
  • Network fee: Solid covers it up to a limit. If a swap would cost more (this can happen on Ethereum), the app asks you before you pay.
  • Estimated time, Price impact and Slippage tolerance

On swaps that leave Fuse, you can switch the route between Cheapest and Fastest. The fees and the time update with the new quote.

6. Confirm

Tap Swap and confirm with your passkey.

7. Track it

Swaps on Fuse usually complete within seconds. Swaps between networks take longer, and the quote shows the usual time. You can close the screen: the swap keeps going and shows in Activity. Its status reads Swap on its way, then Swap completed once your tokens arrive.

If a route can't complete, you may see:

  • Swap refunded: the tokens you paid with were returned to you.
  • Swap delivered in another token: the last step didn't go through, so you received a different token on the destination network.
  • Swap failed: contact support from the in-app chat if your funds haven't come back.

Common questions

Why can't I find my token?

Check that the network filter is set to All networks, then search by name. The list covers the tokens Solid supports on Fuse, Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon and BNB Chain, plus FUSE, ETH, POL and BNB. If the token still isn't there, it can't be swapped in Solid yet.

Why did my swap fail?

Typical reasons:

  • Not enough balance for the amount, or for a fee paid on top in the network's own coin
  • The price changed before you confirmed: check the new amount and swap again
  • The price impact is too high for that amount: try a smaller amount
  • No quote for that amount: try a different amount

If the issue persists, contact support from the in-app chat.

Can I swap directly from Savings?

No. Withdraw from Savings to your Wallet first, then swap.
