Solid fees and limits: the complete overview

Everything Solid charges and everything it doesn't: card, savings, deposits, buying crypto, swaps, FX and withdrawals by tier (Core, Prime, Ultra), plus limits and how to reach zero fees.

This page is the complete overview of the fees and limits that apply to your Solid account. It covers the Solid Card, Savings, deposits, withdrawals, swaps and currency conversion, and how each fee changes across the Core, Prime and Ultra tiers of Solid Rewards.

The short version: the card is free, holding money is free, and the higher your Rewards tier, the fewer fees you pay. Ultra members pay no fees at all on deposits, swaps, FX and buying crypto. Whatever your tier, the exact fee is always shown in the app before you confirm.

Fees by tier

Every member starts at Core. You move up to Prime and Ultra by earning points, or unlock a tier instantly by staking FUSE in your Savings. Your fee schedule follows your current tier and updates automatically when your tier changes.

5,000,000 points or stake 50,000 FUSE

35,000,000 points or stake 400,000 FUSE

Bank withdrawals and stock trades currently carry no Solid fee at any tier. A tiered fee on these (0.5% at Core, 0.25% at Prime, free at Ultra) is planned; we will update this page and notify you in the app before it applies.

Fees that compute to less than $0.01 are waived rather than charged. Stake FUSE for Ultra and every fee drops to zero. Unstaking is subject to a 30-day cooldown, and your tier returns to what your points support once the stake is withdrawn. The current staking amounts are always shown in the app. See How does Solid Rewards work? for the full tier details.

Cross-border and international transaction fees

Covered by Solid

The FX conversion fee is charged when a card purchase settles in a currency other than USD, regardless of the merchant's country. It is applied to your balance after the purchase settles and shows in the transaction details. FX and cross-border fees are mutually exclusive: only one can apply per transaction.

You also earn cashback in USDC on every card purchase: 3% at Core, 4% at Prime and 5% at Ultra, up to your tier's monthly cap.

Performance fee

No subscription, lock-up or minimum

Example: if your Savings generate $100 in yield over a period, Solid retains $10 and you keep $90. The performance fee covers the cost of curating, managing and optimizing the strategies that generate your yield. The solver fee covers gas and potential slippage when a withdrawal is executed at the smart contract level, so you never have to manage those costs yourself.

The bank deposit fee is withheld from the arriving amount before your balance is credited, so it can never take your balance below zero. Bank deposits include transfers to your Solid Virtual Account. The bank sending the payment may charge its own fees outside Solid. See Virtual Accounts on Solid for availability and processing times.

Buying crypto with local currency (TransFi)

Solid buy-crypto fee

0.5% at Core, 0.25% at Prime, free at Ultra

When you buy USDC with local currency in the app, the order is processed by our on-ramp partner TransFi, which applies its own rate and fee, shown before you confirm. Solid's fee is then applied to the USDC that arrives in your balance once the order settles.

Solid bank withdrawal fee

Currently free at every tier

Sending money from Solid to a bank account, including cashing out your card balance, currently carries no Solid fee. A tiered fee (0.5% at Core, 0.25% at Prime, free at Ultra) is planned and will be announced in the app before it applies. Our payment partner's rate, any partner fee and the estimated arrival time are always shown before you confirm.

Crypto withdrawals

Sending crypto from your Solid balance to an external wallet carries no Solid fee. Withdrawals from Savings are subject to the 0.01% solver fee described above. Standard network fees may apply depending on the destination chain and are shown before you confirm.

Swaps and stocks

Swap fee

Stock trade fee

Currently free at every tier

The swap fee is taken from the token you are swapping from, inside the same transaction, and is displayed on the swap screen before you confirm. Every $1 you swap also earns 1 Solid Rewards point. Tokenized stock trades currently carry no Solid fee; a tiered fee matching the swap schedule is planned and will be announced before it applies.

Card limits

Spending limits are based on your available balance and follow the program that issued your card. Limits can apply per transaction, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly or lifetime, and may be adjusted per user. Transactions above roughly $250,000 may require additional verification from Visa, and the maximum single transaction is roughly $750,000. Certain merchant categories (such as gas stations) carry extra safeguards. See Card fees & limits for merchant rules and why a payment may be declined.
