Performance Fee, 10% of generated yield
Solid charges a 10% performance fee on the yield your savings generate. This fee is taken from the yield itself, not from your principal.
For example: if your savings generate $100 in yield over a period, Solid retains $10 and you keep $90. Your principal is never touched.
This fee covers the cost of curating, managing, and optimizing the DeFi strategies that generate your yield. There are no subscription fees, no deposit fees, and no withdrawal fees.
Solver Fee, 0.01%
A solver fee applies when executing withdrawal transactions.
This fee is used to cover the onchain execution costs associated with processing withdrawals including gas fees and potential slippage incurred during transaction settlement.
Rather than requiring users to manually manage these technical costs, the solver fee enables withdrawals to be executed seamlessly at the smart contract level.
Card Fees
Spending with the Solid Card is designed to be simple: adding money is free, spending in US dollars is free, and the only fee is a 1% FX fee that applies when you spend in a currency other than USD.
Top-up: 0%. The full amount you add to your card is available to spend. If you deposit $5, you can spend $5.
USD spending: no fee. Purchases settled in US dollars are not charged an FX or transaction fee.
Non-USD spending: 1% FX fee. Purchases settled in any currency other than USD carry a 1% fee, built into the exchange rate rather than shown as a separate line item.
Cross-border and international fees: covered by Solid, not passed through to you.
If you send crypto from an external wallet or exchange to fund your card, that wallet or network may charge its own fee before the funds reach Solid. This is not a Solid fee.
