How to withdraw soUSD back to USDC

Withdrawals on Solid use a secure two-step process that protects your funds.

Updated over 3 months ago

Step 1 — Initiate your withdrawal

  1. From the Home screen, tap your soUSD balance.

  2. Select Withdraw.

  3. Enter the amount of soUSD to withdraw.

  4. Confirm the withdrawal.

After a few minutes, the transaction will update to “Ready to withdraw” in your Savings card.

Step 2 — Finalize your withdrawal

Once you see the “Ready to withdraw” status:

  1. Tap the withdrawal notification.

  2. Confirm the release of funds.

This step converts your soUSD → USDC on Ethereum network.

Your USDC will arrive in your Solid Safe Wallet within up to 24 hours, usually faster.

Why there are two steps

This process:

  • Ensures secure unwinding of underlying yield strategies

  • Protects your assets from draining attacks

  • Provides a clear onchain audit trail

After your USDC arrives

You will see your USDC balance under the Wallet card on the Home screen.

From there, you can:

  • Send USDC externally

  • Swap

  • Add funds

  • Use it to top up your Solid Card (if supported)
