Card payment declined

Payments may be declined for several reasons.

Common causes

  • Insufficient card balance

  • Merchant category not supported

  • Temporary network hiccups

  • Local restrictions for card programs

  • Frozen card

  • Incorrect Apple Pay / Google Pay setup

What to do

  1. Go to Card and confirm:

    • your balance

    • whether the card is frozen

  2. Try again with Apple Pay/Google Pay or a physical number entry

  3. Try another merchant to isolate the issue

If payments continue to fail, contact us with:

  • merchant name

  • amount

  • timestamp
