The Solid Card is available to residents of supported countries. Solid Savings is available worldwide, so even if the card is not yet available where you live, you can still create an account, get a non-custodial Safe wallet, and deposit to earn yield. Getting your card is free and takes most people under 3 minutes. Your card lives right on the Wallet home screen from day one.
Step 1: Verify your identity
Verification is required before Solid can issue your Visa Card.
Open the Solid app. On the Wallet home screen, tap Get verified (or tap your card and then Verify now).
Submit a valid identity document (passport, driver's license, or national ID).
Complete a quick live selfie to confirm it's you.
Verification takes about 2 minutes, and most approvals come through within a few minutes. See How to complete identity verification (KYC) for details.
Step 2: Your card is activated
Once verification is approved, your free virtual Visa card is activated automatically. There is no order step and no deposit required to activate it.
From the card screen you can view your card details, freeze the card, and add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Step 3: Fund your wallet to start spending
To make your first purchase, add funds to your wallet and then top up your card:
Tap Add Funds on the Wallet home screen, or Add funds on your card screen.
Spend online and in-store anywhere Visa is accepted, or pay with your phone via Apple Pay and Google Pay.
